    Bonjour,

Remets les mots dans l’ordre pour construire des phrases au style indirect

    a. Mary said she wouldn’t be late.

    b. A beautiful girl said hello to me.

    c. Vanessa and Johnny said they had bought a house.

    d. Ann said she had lost her watch.

Transforme au style indirect comme dans l’exemple:

Ex : The children « we play video games » —> The children say they play video games.

    a. Emily « I’m going to sell my computer » —> Emily says she is going to sell her computer.

    b. Pat and Betty «  We’ve failed our driving test » —> Pat and Betty say they have failed their driving test.

    c. My parents «  You never listen to us » —> My parents say I never listen to them.

    d. Gordon «  I am enjoying my new job » —> Gordon says he is enjoying his new job »

    e. Mark «  My friend is in love with our teacher » —> Mark says his friend is in love with our teacher.

(= Mark « Mon ami est amoureux de notre prof » —> Mark dit que son ami est amoureux de notre prof )

Mets au style indirect en applicant les règles de concordance des temps:

    Ex: « I don’t like Susan » —> Alice said she didn’t like Susan.

    a. « We’re getting married » —>They said they were getting married.

    b. « I must finish my homework » —> Zoe said she had to finish her homework.

    c. « My cousins don’t live in San Francisco » —> Paul said his cousins didn’t live in San Francisco.

    d. « We won’t be home early » —> My parents said they wouldn’t be home early.
